On Monday women at Yarls Wood immigration detention centre launched a hunger strike against their indefinite detention and imminent charter flight.

In China money lenders offering services like Afterpay have been demanding young women send naked selfies as collateral, forcing the financial regulators to intervene.


 

A dinner lady is taking the British government to court A single mum who relies on universal credit is challenging the government's benefits scheme for being "irrational". This follows reports which have shown that 86% of the Tory government benefits cuts have fallen on women.


 

Sammy Woodhouse - a victim of child sexual exploitation has called for a change in the law amid claims a man who raped her was offered a role in her son's life.
