Sally Challen was convicted of killing her husband, Richard Challen, in 2011 after enduring years of domestic abuse. This week her murder conviction was quashed and she is now awaiting a retrial.


 

CPS brought a case against transwoman Miranda Yardley for harassing a trans activist in Britain's first transgender hate crime trial. The judge dismissed the case following a one day hearing.


 

Martina Navratilova has clarified some statements on transwomen in women's sports after being accused of transphobia for pointing out the difference between males and females.

Domestic violence services in London are at breaking point. In 2017 funding fell for women's services by 50% as demand increased by 83%.
